Programs
Clinical
Our clinical program is based on the core values of the social work profession. We hire graduate level Social Workers as best practice for quality client care. We work towards advocacy on the micro and the macro level depending on issues that affect the communities that we work with.
At CitiLeaf Housing, each resident is assigned a Social Worker with whom they meet weekly, working together across a variety of domains in order to develop plans of action that best facilitate the resident’s progress, health, and access to necessary resources. Though each case is different, a resident’s service plan may include maintaining medical and dental compliance, advancing his or her education, addressing abusive relationships, organizing financial management, maintaining his or her apartment, managing sobriety, and disengaging from high-risk behavior. As a result of working within the residence, Social Workers are uniquely positioned to provide consistent access and support services to residents, cultivating an atmosphere that facilitates relationship-building and constant movement toward the achievement of goals. As a result of this “in the living room” model of service, Social Workers have the opportunity to make vital connections with residents in nontraditional clinical settings, such as monthly recreational trips or cultural events, or while accompanying residents to doctor’s appointments. The holistic quality of work with residents lends a depth and significance specific to supportive housing. Additionally, Social Workers make a range of referrals to outside service agencies.
Facilities
CitiLeaf Housing’s Facilities Maintenance Team provides safety, cleanliness and comfort to the residents and staff and to engage in various improvement projects all provided with sustainability in mind. The team preserves the effective functioning of each apartment as well as supports the integrity of our buildings in New York City.
We utilize automated building management and communication systems, ecofriendly cleaning products, conscious in-house recycling, lighting retrofits and a state of the art chiller-heater. In addition we also have on-going trainings to improve the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team as they strive to care for and enhance our house and home.

Nutrition
CitiLeaf Housing provides residents with a healthy and wholesome nightly meal. Meals are carefully planned and prepared on a daily basis by kitchen staff, including a hot meal and a salad bar stocked with fresh produce and protein dishes.
